Stock Administrator - full time vacancy, Colwick, Nottingham

We provide the Head Office support for a chain of 24 shops throughout the country.  You will be joining a friendly team who focus on giving support to our stores which are situated from the south coast up to Scotland.

Primarily the vacancy will involve the preparation of stock from receipt into our head office through to dispatch out to our shops. This is very much a 'hands on' post, supporting our stores ensuring a sufficient supply of stock.

We are looking for a self motivated, confident and enthusiastic individual willing to learn and be part of a small but busy team.

Role includes:

  • Receiving of deliveries from suppliers
  • Ticketing and packing stock
  • Preparation of dispatches out to stores
  • Use of computer stock control system to administer stock.
  • Office and clerical duties
  • General warehouse duties
  • Liaise and communicate with our retail stores

The successful candidate must have a methodical and organised approach with a good telephone manner and the ability to communicate to all levels.  Working to tight deadlines and the ability to prioritise will be a key requirement of the role. Basic PC skills and essential knowledge of Word and Excel are advantageous.
