The Saturdays singer Una Healy has spoken publicly about the “worst moment” of her life when her newborn baby girl experienced a choking episode within her first 24-hours of life.

In an exclusive interview with Hello magazine, the Irish vocalist is pictured alongside England rugby player Ben Foden sporting a blue summer dress, complemented by her fiance in a pair of grey shorts, and bangles.

Foden told the publication: “Aoife had some fluid stuck in her lungs and when we fed her, she kept bringing it up but on this occasion it was forcefully.

“Then she started choking and was holding her breath.”

He continued to describe how emergency services “whisked” their baby away as alarm bells sounded around them.

Una added: “I was screaming. It was the worst moment of my life.”

But thankfully Aoife Bella was fine after the fluid was released.

Healy announced on Twitter last week that baby Aoife would celebrate being 30-days-old on the same day as her grandfather’s birthday, April 12th.
