It seems this time it isn’t a Bad Romance for Lady Gaga, and she has a Monster-sized ring to prove it!

Time To Go Gaga 2

Lady Gaga is hardly known for being shy and she proudly shared a picture of the gorgeous roses she received for Valentine’s Day at the weekend. But it seems these lovely flowers weren’t the only gift Taylor Kinney presented on Valentine’s Day… He got her an absolutely amazing engagement ring too! Rumours had been circling since the weekend but it became official last night when both Lady Gaga and her beau Taylor confirmed they were engaged, announcing the news via their Instagram accounts. Lady Gaga also shared a picture of her gorgeous engagement ring and instantly caused an uproar as everyone went ‘gaga’ for her new accessory!

Lady Gaga is a performer known for her striking and distinctive fashion choices so it comes as no surprise that she has received a ring as bold and attention grabbing as she is. At the centre of the design is an absolutely HUGE heart-shaped diamond, which some experts have estimated could be as large as eight carats!

Time To Go Gaga 3

The setting is very simple, with a slim band set with several smaller diamonds. Of course, when the central stone is as eye-catching as this one the setting doesn’t need to be too fancy! Heart-shaped diamonds of this size are very rare and valuable – some experts have suggested that Lady Gaga’s new piece of bling could have cost as much as $500k! That’s a little bit more than pocket change for most of us and definitely out of my price range unfortunately.

Luckily, if you do like the style of this stunning engagement ring, we have some spectacular heart-shaped diamond rings at really fantastic discounts in selected stores! Remember, if you want to learn more about the characteristics of any of the diamonds described below, or any of our other discount engagement rings, you can check out our helpful fact-sheet here.
