Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson seemed to be defying the ageing process at the Golden Globes 2012 Awards last night (January 15th).
The incredible-looking 47-year-old was snapped smiling and laughing in an elegant strapless white ball gown with a flowing trail, paired with a clutch handbag and diamond bracelets.
Five colourful bangles decorated Macpherson’s wrist, while her long blonde locks fell below her shoulders, reminding audiences why she is among Australia’s most stunning women.
A host of celebrities were out in force to watch the award proceedings, which saw Meryl Streep take the gong for best performance by an actress in a motion picture drama, for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady.
Another woman recognised for her depiction of an historical icon was Michelle Williams, who took the prize for best actress in a comedy or musical.
Williams took on the feat of embodying classic film star Marilyn Monroe in My Week with Marilyn, in which she endeavoured to illustrate the star’s inner struggles against the backdrop of a superficial film industry.
