We’ve already looked at the jewellery choices of Kate Middleton and Zara Phillips at the recent Diamond Jubilee but what about the star of the show herself?
Queen Elizabeth II, for whom the Jubilee was held, attended a Thanksgiving service in her honour at St Paul’s Cathedral on June 5th.
Even though she is 86-years-old, she looked glorious and demure in a mint crystal-studded coat and dress designed by Angela Kelly.
The Queen teamed her ensemble with a mint green hat and white gloves as well as plenty of jewellery.
She wore her favourite three-string pearl necklace with a pair of matching earrings, finished off with a diamond brooch cut from the largest diamond in the world – the Cullinan.
Jewellery fit for a queen!
Following the church service, the Queen appeared on Buckingham Palace’s balcony to wave to the huge crowds that had gathered to see her.
This was accompanied by a flypast by the Red Arrows and a number of World War II aircraft.
