Celebrities from both sides of the pond have been wearing both black and white clothes, with matching monochrome jewellery, on the red carpet of late.

Most of the time, we have to choose between rocking a little black or white dress on a night out or special occasion but now the trend is to wear both blocking them together, states Elle.

British model and actress Liberty Ross, who can currently be seen in Snow White and the Huntsman, attended the premiere of the fantasy drama rocking the monochrome jewellery trend.

She donned a white lace dress and blocked it with a black waist belt and heeled sandals.

Ross accessorised with a simple ring and hot red nails to add extra glamour to her outfit.

Meanwhile, the star of Snow White Kristen Stewart also followed the monochrome trend at the premiere.

The Twilight star wore a short black skirt teamed with a white blouse and black blazer for an androgynous chic look.

Stewart chose several rings as her jewellery of choice rocking an over-sized black stone and two silver ones, matching monochrome jewellery for her outfit.

Emma Stone also walked the red carpet in a black and white ensemble, choosing a Martin Grant dress.

The dress itself comprised a black corset-style top that flowed out into a white peplum skirt.

She complemented the stunning dress with white heels and a large ring.

Rings are not the only form of jewellery that work well with this fashion trend as shown by the style icons Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

Mary-Kate was recently snapped in a long black gown matched with orange heels and a clutch bag. She chose a gold necklace and dangling earrings to glam up the outfit.

In contrast, her twin sister Ashley selected a long white gown with orange heels. She adorned her arms with a cornucopia of chunky bracelets, while rocking a plain ring on her hand.

Goes to show that you can glam up this hot fashion and celebrity trend with whatever jewellery you like!
