Jessie J has quickly cemented her place as the tough girl of British pop music, but this does not mean she does not also have a girlie side.
The singer has been showing how she has a feminine side too as she took part in a photo shoot for American Glamor magazine.
As well as hitting the top of the charts with her debut album and seeing huge success with singles like Do It Like a Dude and Price Tag, Jessie has also become a household name thanks to her role as a judge on The Voice.
Her honest approach on the programme has made her a force to be reckoned with and has also given the chance for people to see her distinctive personal style.
She is often seen in skin-tight dresses and catsuits, as well as pulling her long black hair off her face into a bun or a pony tail.
But in the magazine shoot she had the chance to show that she can be girlie too, as she swapped her street style for a pretty pastel coloured dress and statement earrings.
Jessie tried a softer version of her normal look, with more natural make up and lighter coloured clothes that were complemented by a long chain necklace.
She also explained to the magazine that her amazing hair makeovers are down to wearing wigs.
“‘It’s so tough to explain to people. When you have half an hour to be ready at four o’clock in the morning, you don’t have time to get up and glue in extensions or blow-dry your hair,” Jessie said.
“I don’t want my hair falling out, so I wear wigs!’
She added that she gets a lot of her self-confidence from her family, as she said her parents and sisters have always let her be the person she wants to be.
