It is typically the red carpet on Leicester Square where Londoners have their greatest opportunity to observe a host of A-list Hollywood royalty in one place.
However, three big actresses and a world-renowned designer banded together for a ladies’ night out in Mayfair recently.
According to reports from the Daily Mail, Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow and Stella McCartney all arrived at exclusive members-only venue The Arts Club last night (January 31st).
The entire group look chic and fresh-faced as photographers snapped them exiting the venue shortly after midnight, with fashion giant Stella McCartney wearing a gold necklace to match her choice of red dress.
The designer paired the pieces with a grey patterned jacket, large clutch handbag and a neat chignon, which accentuated her high cheekbones.
Reese Witherspoon was in town to promote her new flick, This Means War, and looked very girl-next-door in black heels, leggings and a large black coat.
Wearing a slightly cheeky smile, the 35-year-old star, who has two children with ex-husband Ryan Philippe, allowed her luscious blonde tresses to flow down her shoulders.
Reese hails from the depths of southern America, Louisiana, and may perhaps be a little exhausted as her filming schedule has been particularly busy of late.
Last year, she starred alongside Twilight hunk Robert Pattison in Water for Elephants and is set to see four more projects released by the end of 2013.
Comrades Cameron and Gwyneth were no less glamorous examples of Hollywood royalty, however, the pair seemed to be a little more camera shy.
Diaz tucked her chin into her coat as best she could to make her way to her car in relative peace from camera flashes.
Wearing her hair in an en vogue bob cut, the blonde star looked elegant in a thick grey coat, complemented by a glossy clutch handbag.
Meanwhile, Paltrow sported a very feminine cream-coloured jacket and ankle-length boots.
