Florence Welch and her Machine were honoured twice at the NME awards at the Brixton Academy in London last night (February 29th).

The 25-year-old took home the title of Best Solo Female Artist, while her single Shake It Out won Best Track.

Talking about her wins, she said: “I’m really incredibly grateful. It is slightly strange because I’ve never been quite sure myself about whether I’m a solo act or a band.”

Arriving at the event, Florence wore an eccentric outfit consisting of a black and white suit flecked with gold, to match her gold rings, and decorated with flowers and black high heels.

Later on, she changed into a stunning floor-length black gown for her performance with The Horrors, who won Best Album.

She did, however, keep on her collection of gemmed and gold rings to complement both outfits.

This isn’t the first time that the flame-haired singer has stepped out with her selection of rings as she wore them to the Brit awards on February 21st.

However, the NME’s were more of an event to remember as Florence missed out on the Best Female Soloist Prize at the Brits.
