British model Danielle Lloyd regrets enlarging her breasts after ruptured implants have left her chest scarred and disfigured.
In a candid interview with Heat magazine, the glamorous star said that given the choice again, she would not undergo cosmetic surgery to boost the size of bust.
The TV presenter had to have emergency surgery in February to remove the silicon inserts, with surgeons landing on a potentially fatal blood clot that had to be operated on.
Although the procedure saved Lloyd from a devastating fate, it dented her confidence as she is no longer proud of feminine charms.
She told the publication: “Putting on a bikini for the first time was upsetting, but it’s not the size that upsets me, it’s my left breast, which is badly disfigured.
“I don’t want big breasts now. I will have more surgery, but it will be reconstruction.”
The mother-of-two was pictured by the Daily Mail on a holiday abroad to the Canary Islands recently, where she bravely donned a black and gold-sequined bikini that exposed her reduced-size bosom.
The model remained stunning however as she paired the two-piece with aviator shades and diamond earrings, proving to critics her recent brush with death would not hold her back.
Lloyd was snapped with her sons Archie and Harry, however her Wolverhampton Wanderers beau Jamie O’Hara was absent as he had professional commitments back on UK soil.
When asked by Heat if she would have undergone surgery knowing the risk she later faced, the star admitted she would “really think about it”.
She continued: “I wish I had never done anything to my body. You don’t realise the upkeep your breasts require.”
Lloyd added that they typically last ten years before they have to be replaced.
It seems Lloyd’s brave adventure onto the beach encouraged fans however, as one Twitter follower of hers took to the site to say how inspired she felt.
MissDLloyd retweeted a message from Joanne Page that said: “You look great in your tiny bikini. I’m going to be small … and proud on holiday too!.”
