Jennifer Aniston made her first onscreen appearance in 1988 with an un-credited extras role in the sci-fi film Mac and Me.
But after almost 15 years, the 43-year-old finally saw her name embedded in Hollywood’s Walk of Fame yesterday (February 2nd).
The star looked stunning, sporting her usual girl-next-door style in a simple patterned dress, open-toe lace sandals and her signature straight hairdo. She polished the look off with a gold ring that bore her name, Jennifer.
Jennifer Aniston was accompanied at the ceremony by her beau Justin Theroux and her father John, who was also an actor.
Describing the experience as “surreal”, Aniston admitted it was a strange feeling to finally be laying her own star in the tourist attraction as she was raised in California and could hardly envisage her name one day being there on the popular Walk of Fame.
She said: “It probably wasn’t even a dream, it was one of my wildest dreams.
“I don’t think that I ever thought that this would be here, this day. So I am utterly humble and grateful.”
Her newest film Wanderlust recently hit cinema screens and she is set to appear in Miss You Already next year.
