It was designed by Stephanie Rolland Haute Couture and had a modest neckline although Cole did flash her back due to its low cut.

The stand-out piece were Cole's teardrop diamond earrings, which were complemented with a white gold bracelet and diamond ring.

Remember your schooldays when you used to exchange friendship bracelets with your best pals?

Well, friendship bracelets are now a hot jewellery trend for grown women as well as schoolchildren, according to Elle.

This type of bracelet was popular last year with spiked versions being the norm as this was a great way to rock the fetish fashion trend.

Now though, it's all about colour so brighter is better when it comes to buying jewellery online.

What’s more, you don't have to choose colourful bracelets made from fabric as metal charms are just as trendy this season.

This means you can buy Charm Candy to exchange with a friend in return for a bracelet or alternatively just keep it for yourself as they are very cute!

If you want to accessorise with friendship bracelets, wearing an arm-full of them is the way to go for a tres chic summer look.

McFly drummer and Strictly Come Dancing champion Harry Judd has asked his girlfriend Izzy Johnston to marry him.

He confirmed that she had said yes on his Twitter account yesterday (May 17th) explaining that he couldn't be happier.

Later that day, he quipped on the social network: "I liked it, so I put a ring on it. #engaged."

Judd proposed over a candlelit dinner in St Lucia where the couple are currently holidaying.

The couple have been together since 2005 when Izzy lent her violin skills to the band for their tour.

They moved in together just before he started competing in the dance competition Strictly last year.

The model and businesswoman was seen wearing a pink diamond engagement ring on a recent skiing trip, suggesting she is engaged to Argentinean model Leonardo Penna.

IT crowd actor Chris O'Dowd has also recently proposed and he is now engaged to writer and TV presenter Dawn Porter.

We love star-studded award ceremonies and film festivals as we can take a look at the type of jewellery that is being worn.

Cannes Film Festival 2012, which started on May 15th, is in full swing giving us plenty of opportunity to see what our favourite celebrities are wearing.

A regular on the Best Dressed lists is actress Diane Kruger and she has not disappointed this year.

On the opening day of the ceremony, she wore a green Giambattista Valli couture gown complemented with a white gold ladies designer watch and matching earrings.

The 'Troy' actress took her ladies watch for another spin last night (May 17th) when she attended the Calvin Klein-sponsored Women in Film celebration.

This time around, she wore her watch to accompany a cleavage-enhancing red dress and white strappy sandals.

She was accompanied to the event by her partner Joshua Jackson, with whom she has been in a relationship for six years.

British actress Frieda Pinto, known for her role in 'Slumdog Millionaire', also wowed on the Cannes red carpet.

On the opening day, she rocked a Michael Angel pale pink dress with a beaded bodice, worn with Louis Vuitton silver platform sandals.

She also accessorised with jewellery, including a ring and white gold earrings.

For the opening night dinner, she chose a black Versace gown complete with a thigh-high split and sheer sleeves.

Fellow British actress Tilda Swinton has also been showing off her eccentric take on fashion at the Cannes Film Festival.

She showed older women how to look fashionable with her choice of outfit for a press conference about her new film 'Moonrise Kingdom'.

Swinton wore a silk blouse, sky blue pencil skirt and heels complemented with a ring on each hand.

The film festival continues for the next seven days so keep your eye out for the stunning jewellery that is being worn by A-listers on the red carpet.

As we are now in May, race season has started leaving us with plenty of opportunities to show off our pretty dresses and stunning jewellery.

However, there are some dress code rules in place for those planning to attend Royal Ascot between June 19th and 23rd.

For the first time, the racecourse has issued a dress code to ensure everyone looks the part.

Luckily for us ladies, a pretty dress, hat and some fashionable jewellery is all we need.

For a more formal look, a long dress with a floral or sporty theme is perfect as it can be teamed with a jacket, in case it is cold, a hat and a white gold bracelet to glam up the outfit.

Dresses are not the only option for attending the races as a cute top and skirt can work just as well when glammed up with a hat and pretty bangles.

The races are also the perfect time to rock the Great Gatsby fashion trend so think 1920s clothing.

This includes 'flapper-style' shift dresses worn with brogues and a fascinator or feathers in your hair.

Regardless of the clothes you choose to wear, jewellery will be needed as this can make your overall look more glamorous.

One current jewellery trend that will work well at the races is chunky bangles.

These were seen adorning the wrists of models working for Fendi, Balenciaga, Yves Saint Laurent and Balmain in their summer catwalk shows, states Vogue.

Ranging from subtle gold metal cuffs to bright bangles in a selection of jewel colours, there is one for every person and look out there.

Meanwhile, Hermes chose stacked tan leather bangles and Donna Karen selected bold wooden bracelets for her models.

This just shows that you can rock this trend in a wide number of ways and have plenty of choice when it comes to a race outfit.

Just remember not to look too much like you belong in Desperate Scousewives as the dress code has been designed to protect against this.

Danielle Lloyd showed no signs of her tough year while celebrating her hen party in both Liverpool and Dubai this week.

The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant even confidently displayed her new bikini body on the beach in Dubai yesterday (May 14th).

After having her breast implants removed due to a health scare earlier this year, she has not replaced them and has been showing off her new AA bust in several bikinis.

She even teamed a neon pink two-piece with a pair of gold earrings and sunglasses.

The gold coin trim on her bikini perfectly matched her choice of gold jewellery for her beach outfit.

Lloyd has been pictured playing volleyball, cooling off in the sea and lounging on a yacht with her female friends to celebrate her upcoming nuptials to footballer Jamie O'Hara with whom she has two children.

Last year, she gave birth to son Harry ten weeks early who had to stay in hospital a long time before being allowed home.

She now seems to have put her troubles behind her and is looking forward to her upcoming wedding.

Neon colours are back in fashion with a vengeance this summer so think bright and bold when choosing your outfits.

We may be mistaken for thinking that it's actually the winter with all the rain we've been having but neons are great for banishing the blues and brightening up your day.

One word of warning when it comes to rocking this fashion trend is try to make sure you don't look like you belong in the 1980s rather than the noughties.

All you need to do is coordinate vibrant colourful hues into your wardrobe one step at a time.

If you're unsure about wearing a neon pink or green dress or top, why not try accessorising with neon shades instead?

This trend can be rocked by wearing a neon ladies watch or bright heels combined with a neutral coloured outfit.

Frankie Sandford from the Saturdays showed how neon colours should be worn this weekend (May 13th) when she stepped out in a bold orange gown with a short black cropped jacket to promote the band's new single.
